APCHR's licensing framework is built into every booking. Buyers know their rights. Creatives know their work is protected.

How APCHR handles licensing

Four principles that govern every license on the platform.

Clarity over ambiguity

Every license on APCHR defines exactly what the buyer can and cannot do with their files. No vague language; no assumptions.

Creative retains ownership

Unless explicitly waived in an extended license, the creative retains copyright. A license grants usage rights; it does not transfer ownership.

Attached to every delivery

License certificates are automatically generated and attached to every completed project delivery. Both parties receive a copy.

Upgradeable at any time

Buyers can upgrade their license after delivery if their needs change. The creative is notified and must approve the upgrade request.

  • Resale or sublicensing to third parties
  • Exclusive rights (unless extended license purchased)

  • Creative retains portfolio rights unless waived

These starter points are provided as a reference framework only and do not constitute legal advice.
